Win a copy of “Cook – Step by Step”

 In Give-Aways

This month’s giveaway is something quite exciting. We have one copy of “Cook – Step By Step” to giveaway courtesy of Penguin publishers.

This modern day recipe bible contains more than 300 recipes spanning over 544 pages. All the recipes are tried-and-tested and photographed to ensure success. This really is every cook’s dream book.  The photographs are beautiful and clear and the recipes are interesting. In the front of the book, a picture index is broken up into categories like Vegetarian starters, Fish mains, Meat mains and Cold Desserts.

Recipes range from the incredibly delicious looking Cheddar & Courgette Souffles, Asian Noodle salad and Turkish Lamb kebabs to Aubergine Cannelloni, Prawn Risotto and Leg of Lamb with roasted garlic. And for dessert? How about Cherry Clafoutis, Chocolate and Pear tarts, Orange and cinnamon Creme Brulee or Tiramisu? There are also great recipes for baked goods so there really is something for everyone in this encyclopedia of a cookbook.

To stand a chance of winning this amazing book, we are going to be giving clues over the next 2 weeks. You will need to go back to previous posts and look for KEY WORDS at the top of a post. The word will be in bright yellow at the top of the post. Everyday a word will be added to a different post. There are 8 words in total that make up a phrase. Figure out and send the phrase to us by Friday, 19 November 2010 to alida[at]simply-delicious-food.com. You only get one guess so make sure it’s the right one. Unfortunately, if you’ve won a book in the last 30 days, you will not be allowed to participate. Also, only residents of South Africa are allowed to enter.

Being a general food freak has proven to be quite helpful in this career I've found myself in. Author of two cookbooks, photographer, food stylist. Mom to twins. Ex make-up and hair artist obsessed with beautiful clothes and spaces. I love a good G&T and I've been known to spend too much money on shoes.
