My kids are at that age now where everything I drink, they want to taste. That is fine when I’m having water or iced tea but when I’m indulging in a cocktail or spritzer, it’s less than ideal. I often make them a big pitcher of home-made lemonade so they also feel they’re being spoiled and find that the adults drink it before the kids get a chance to.
I love the pretty pink of this lemonade and the fact that it’s flavoured with one of my favourite summer flavours, watermelon. So simple to make and so delicious. I sometimes quadruple this recipe to make sure there is plenty to go around. It’s always a hit!
