Ingredients

g (1lb)
turkey mince / ground turkey
½
cup
fresh breadcrumbs
(¼ cup dried breadcrumbs)

egg yolk
½
cup
grated cheddar cheese

jalapeno
finely chopped

tbsp
chives
finely chopped

garlic powder

tsp
oregano

For the burgers
4
burger buns
lettuce

slices
cheese
sliced tomato
sliced onion
mayonnaise
Instructions
Combine turkey, breadcrumbs, egg yolk, grated cheese, finely chopped jalapeño, chopped chives, garlic powder, oregano, salt and pepper.
Mix until just-combined. With damp hands, form the mixture into four burger patties.
Cook the patties over medium-high heat in a grill pan or on an outdoor grill until golden brown on both sides and cooked through.
Split and toast the buns then top with mayonnaise, lettuce, the grilled turkey patties, cheese, tomato and onion.
Serve immediately.
