Ingredients

puff pastry sheets
thawed

prosciutto

grated cheese
gruyere, mozzarella, fontina, cheddar. Even brie will be delicious.

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 200°C/390°F.
Spray a 12-hole muffin pan with non-stick cooking spray or olive oil spray.
Slice the puff pastry into 12 squares and push a piece of pastry into each hollow in the muffin pan.
Add a piece of prosciutto to each pastry then add grated cheese.
Add a few sprigs of fresh thyme.
Beat the egg with a tablespoon of water then brush the edges of the pastry with the egg wash.
Place the pastries in a preheated oven and allow to bake for 15-20 minutes or until they are golden brown and puffed.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a minute then gently remove them from the pan and serve.
