Ingredients

mushrooms
cleaned

flour

eggs

panko breadcrumbs

garlic powder

dried oregano
salt and black pepper

For the sour cream dipping sauce
1
cup
sour cream
2
tbsp
chopped chives
1
tsp
lemon juice
½
tsp
garlic powder
salt and black pepper
to taste
Instructions
Season the flour with a pinch of salt and pepper and place in a shallow bowl.
Beat the eggs into a second shallow bowl.
In a third bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs with the garlic powder and oregano and season with salt and pepper.
Coat the mushrooms first in seasoned flour, then in beaten egg and finally in bread crumbs.
Place the crumbed mushrooms in a single layer in the air fryer then drizzle with olive oil. Place the basket in the air fryer.
Cook at 200ºC/390ºF for 10 minutes then turn over and cook for another 3-5 minutes until the mushrooms are crisp and golden.
To make the dipping sauce, stir together the sour cream, chopped chives, garlic powder and lemon juice then season to taste with salt and pepper.
Serve the mushrooms with the dipping sauce.
