Ingredients
For the dough

warm milk

instant yeast

For the filling

For the cream cheese frosting

room temperature

powdered sugar / icing sugar

vanilla paste / vanilla extract
Instructions
Whisk the milk, sugar and yeast together in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the dough hook. Allow to stand for 5 minutes until frothy.
Whisk in the egg then add the flour and salt to the bowl.
Mix until combined.
Add the softened butter.
Knead for 5 minutes until the dough starts coming away from the side of the bowl.
If the dough is too sticky, add 1-2 tbsp flour and knead in.
Transfer the dough to a greased bowl and cover with plastic.
Place in the fridge and allow to rise overnight.
Remove the dough and allow to come to room temperature for 1 hour.
Combine all the ingredients for the filling and set aside.
Roll the dough into a large rectangle approximately ½-1cm thick, on a floured surface.
Spread the cinnamon sugar mix onto the dough then roll tightly into a long roll.
Slice into 5cm/2in thick rolls then place in a greased baking dish.
Allow to rise for 30 minutes.
Preheat the air fryer to 180°C/350°.
Pour the cream over the rolls.
Place the rolls into the air fryer and air fry for 20-25 minutes until risen and golden brown.
To make the icing, whisk together all the ingredients (you can do this step in a food processor too) until smooth and combined.
Remove the rolls from the air fryer, allow to cool for 10-15 minutes then cover with the icing and serve.
