Easy orange cranberry punch

Having a festive cocktail ready to go is an excellent idea during the holidays. It makes guests feel instantly welcome and make you look like the host/hostess with the mostess. A simple punch recipe like this one is great because it can be prepped and left in the fridge for days before serving. But be careful, this easy orange cranberry punch is so good, you might want to finish the entire pitcher before the guests even arrive.

How to make cranberry punch

  1. Make the cranberry syrup: Place the frozen cranberries in a saucepan and add the cranberry juice. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes, mashing the cranberries with the back of a wooden spoon, until the juice has reduced slightly. Remove from the heat and allow to cool completely.
  2. Make the punch: In a large jug or pitcher, add ice cubes then pour in the cranberry syrup and Campari. Add the rosemary, orange slices and fruit then pour in the orange juice. Top with the soda water/club soda and serve.

Can I make this ahead?

Absolutely! The cranberry syrup can be made and kept in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. The punch can be assembled (without ice, rosemary and fruit) and kept in the fridge for up to a day in advance. Simply add the extras in before serving.
