Ingredients

chicken thighs
2
tbsp
butter/olive oil
4
garlic cloves
crushed
2
tbsp
fresh herbs
thyme, rosemary, oregano, sage and parsley are all good options

cups
white wine
1
tbsp
lemon juice
salt and pepper
to taste
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 200°C/390°F.
Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels then season on both sides with salt.
Heat a large skillet or ovenproof pan over medium-high heat then add the chicken, skin-side down.
Allow to cook for 8-10 minutes or until the skin is golden brown.
Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
In the same pan, melt the butter or heat the oil.
Add the crushed garlic and herbs and cook until fragrant then pour in the white wine and lemon juice.
Season with salt and pepper then add the chicken back to the pan, skin-side up.
Place the chicken in a hot oven and allow to roast for 10-15 minutes until the chicken is crisp and cooked through.
Remove the chicken from the oven then scatter with chopped parsley (optional) and serve.
