Using a sharp knife or a pizza cutter, cut the tortillas into 4-8 pieces each.
I like cutting them into quarters for larger chips but if you want more of a traditional chip, cutting the tortillas into 6-8 pieces will be more suitable.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F/205°C.
Place the tortillas in the air fryer basket in a single layer and spray with oil.
Sprinkle over spices, if using.
Air fry the tortillas for 2-3 minutes per side until crisp and golden. Keep an eye on them as they can burn quickly.
Remove from the air fryer and repeat with the remaining tortillas.
