1cuppear juiceif you can find a natural pear juice that is a little thicker, you'll get the most pear flavor.

2cupswater
½cupfresh lemon juice
2thumb-size piecesfresh gingerpeeled and sliced
pinch of salt
1tspvanilla extract
For serving
club soda/soda water
fresh pear slices
cranberries
fresh rosemary
Instructions
Make the cranberry syrup by combining frozen cranberries, sugar, a few cups of water, pear juice, freshly squeezed lemon juice, sliced ginger, salt and vanilla in a saucepan.
Set over medium heat then bring to a simmer.
Allow to cook for 10 minutes then remove from the heat and allow to cool.
Strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve and transfer to a container or bottle.
To make the mocktails, pour syrup over ice then top with club soda/soda water and serve.
Decorate your glasses with slices of fresh pear, cranberries and rosemary.
For an alcoholic drink, add a shot of vodka, gin or tequila to the glass with the syrup.
