Ingredients
1
lb (500g)
salmon fillets
1
cup
homemade teriyaki sauce
Instructions
Pre-heat the oven to 430°F/220°C.
Combine all the sauce ingredients in a small saucepan and whisk until the cornstarch is incorporated then set over medium-high heat.
Allow the sauce to come to a boil and cook for 5 minute until the sauce has thickened.
Line a sheet pan or baking dish with parchment paper to make clean-up easier - the teriyaki sauce will caramelize and burn while cooking.
Pat the salmon filets dry with paper towels then place in the prepared tray, skin side down.
Brush over the teriyaki sauce liberally.
Place the salmon in the pre-heated oven and allow to bake for 7-10 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and the sauce has caramelized.
Remove from the oven, garnish with sesame seeds and green onions (optional) then serve.
