Garlic Chive Buttermilk Dressing

  • Buttermilk.
  • Fresh garlic. 
  • Chives. 
  • Fresh dill.
  • Lemon juice. 
  • Salt and pepper. 

How to make buttermilk dressing

  1. Prepare the herbs: Finely chop the chives and dill and mince the garlic with a microplain or sharp knife.
  2. Make the dressing: Combine the buttermilk, herbs, garlic, lemon juice salt and pepper in a small mixing bowl. Mix until combined. Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary then serve.

Can I make this in advance?

The dressing can be made up to 2 days in advance and kept in a jar in the fridge before serving.

  • 1 tbsp chopped chives
  • 2 tsp chopped dill
  • 1-2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • salt and pepper to taste
