This cranberry brie pull apart bread is full of festive flavor and perfect as a sharing appetizer. Super easy to make and always impressive.
Ingredients
- Bread of your choice. A sourdough or country loaf-style bread is ideal.
- Brie cheese. Any good melting cheese will work. Camembert, Mozzarella, Fontina, Raclette or Havarti are all good choices.
- Cranberry sauce. I use store-bought cranberry sauce but homemade is absolutely perfect too.
- Rosemary. Thyme or sage are good substitutes.
- Olive oil.
- Salt.
How to make cranberry brie pull apart bread
- Slice the bread: With a sharp bread knife, slice the bread into a diamond pattern, taking care not to cut all the way through the bottom.
- Stuff: Cut the Brie cheese into chunks (not too thick or they’ll be too big to fit into the bread). Spread the cranberry sauce in between the cut pieces of bread then add chunks of brie. Add a few sprigs of rosemary then drizzle with olive oil and season with salt.
- Bake: Cover the bread loosely with foil and place in a hot oven. Bake for 10 minutes or until the brie is completely melted then serve immediately.
Can I make this bread ahead?
The bread can be prepped the day in advance. Wrap well in foil and keep in the fridge until you’re ready to bake.
