MY LATEST VIDEOS

My love for a good burger is unlike the love I have for other food. I don’t know why this is so but I constantly revert to this delicious classic when I am out of ideas. Who doesn’t like a good, juicy burger? (Especially when it’s this awesome Mexican cheeseburger recipe?)

Making your own patties is definitely the way to go though. It takes minimal effort but the result is so satisfying that you won’t want to go back to buying your patties ready-made. Not only are the possibilities endless when it comes to making your own patties but you also know what went into them, so you know what you’re feeding your family, something you just don’t know when you’re buying patties ready-made. And this easy hamburger recipe is no different.

When you marry my love for a good burger with my love for all things Mexican, things could get dangerous…and seriously delicious. Creamy guacamole is a winner on these Mexican cheeseburgers and paring it with spicy home-made pico de gallo is a must. This simple salsa made with tomato, onion, coriander and fresh chili is so good, I often eat it as is.

I added a variation of spices to my Mexican cheeseburger patty and even though I only used beef mince (ground beef), I think adding some pork would be really nice as well. The result was scrumptious and lip-smacking good (I mean, just look at that juicy burger!) Serve these Mexican cheeseburgers with corn chips or with spicy potato wedges as a side. And don’t forget the extra lemon and chillies!

Yum yum! There is a place up the road from us called Grazers and they make Gourmet Burgers and my favourite is their Mexican Burger ~ they add the taco’s into the actual burger bun. It’s to die for!!! I’m definitely going to try our your recipe 🙂
