Juicy beef Mexican burgers served with homemade, creamy guacamole and fresh pico de gallo is the ultimate weekend treat and perfect for serving a crowd.

Mexican cheeseburgers

When you marry my love for a good burger with my love for all things Mexican, things could get dangerous…and seriously delicious. Creamy guacamole is a winner on these Mexican cheeseburgers and paring it with spicy home-made pico de gallo is a must. This simple salsa made with tomato, onion, coriander and fresh chili is so good, I often eat it as is.

How to make Mexican burgers

Making your own patties is definitely the way to go. It takes minimal effort but the result is so satisfying that you won’t want to go back to buying your patties ready-made. Not only are the possibilities endless when it comes to making your own patties but you also know what went into them, so you know what you’re feeding your family, something you just don’t know when you’re buying patties ready-made. And this easy hamburger recipe is no different.

Combine ground beef/beef mince with breadcrumbs and egg (this keeps the burgers juicy) and flavorings then form into burgers. Cook on a grill or in a hot pan until cooked to your preference then top with cheese slices and allow to melt. To assemble the burgers, top toasted burger buns with lettuce, the patties, guacamole and pico de gallo and serve immediately.

What to make with burgers

  1. Easy oven baked fries
  2. Easy spicy garlic baked potato wedges
  3. Creamy potato salad
  4. Easy creamy curried macaroni salad

Not bad. I recommend double the seasoning in the burger. Never in my life have i seen a pico de gallo recipe with parsley. That’s a mistake, I insist on cilantro like a traditional pico for the right flavor

You can absolutely make it with cilantro, I don’t like the flavor of cilantro so I don’t include it.

Yum yum! There is a place up the road from us called Grazers and they make Gourmet Burgers and my favourite is their Mexican Burger ~ they add the taco’s into the actual burger bun. It’s to die for!!! I’m definitely going to try our your recipe 🙂
