Cilantro Lime Air Fryer Chicken Wings

- Chicken wings.
- Fresh coriander/cilantro.
- Lime juice and zest.
- Garlic.
- Olive oil.
- Red chilli. Chilli flakes can be substituted.
- Salt and pepper.
How to cook chicken wings in an Air Fryer
- Marinate the chicken wings: Combine the coriander/cilantro, garlic, chilli, lime juice and zest, olive oil, salt and pepper in a food processor and blend until smooth. Place the wings in a large bowl and pour over the marinade and mix to coat the wings. Cover and refrigerate for up to 24 hours but at least 30 minutes.
- Cook in the Air Fryer: Place the wings in a single layer in the basket of an Air Fryer. Cook at 200ºC/390ºF for 12-15 minutes, flipping half way through, until they are golden brown, crisp and cooked through.
- Serve: Serve the chicken wings scattered with coriander/cilantro and extra lime wedges.
Can I make Air Fryer chicken wings ahead?
The chicken wings can be marinated for up to 24 hours before cooking in the fridge. They can also be frozen for up to 3 months in the marinade. Place the chicken and marinade in a ziploc bag then freeze. Leftover chicken wings can be kept covered in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheated in the Air Fryer for 5 minutes before serving.

Ingredients
- 1 kg (2lb) chicken wings
- 1½ cups fresh coriander / cilantro
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 2 tsp lime zest
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1-2 red chillies
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
Instructions
- Combine the coriander/cilantro, garlic, chilli, lime juice and zest, olive oil, salt and pepper in a food processor and blend until smooth.
