Grilled Chicken Nuggets
These homemade grilled chicken nuggets are juicy, perfectly seasoned and so easy to make. A delicious snack or main dish served with your favorite sides.

Inspired by Chick-Fil-A’s grilled chicken nuggets, this homemade version comes together in minutes and delivers perfectly juicy, delicious nuggets that are gluten-free, low carb and keto friendly. But honestly, I don’t even care about the healthy benefits of this recipe because these little nuggets are just so delicious and perfect with your favorite dipping sauce as a snack.
Ingredients and Substitutions
- Chicken breasts. I used boneless skinless chicken breasts. Boneless chicken thighs can also be used.
- Oil. Avocado oil or olive oil will both work well.
- Lemon juice.
- Seasonings: I used smoked paprika, dried oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Other dried herbs like thyme, parsley or basil will also be delicious. For a little heat, use chilli powder or cayenne pepper.

How To Make Grilled Chicken Nuggets
- Marinate: Slice the chicken and add to a large bowl. Mix together the marinade ingredient then pour over the chicken.
- Grill: Cook the chicken in a hot grill pan until golden brown on all sides. Garnish with chopped parsley (optional) and serve.
Can I Make This Ahead?
The chicken can be marinated for up to 2 days in the refrigerator. Any leftovers can be kept in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
