Air Fryer Pizza
You’re going to love this easy air fryer pizza recipe. Done in 15 minutes, this recipe delivers a delicious cheesy pizza with a crisp crust. Perfect for fuss-free meals.

Ingredients and Substitutions
- Pizza dough. I used homemade pizza dough but use store-bought the easiest meal. You could also use flour tortillas, pita bread, naan or French bread to make pizza in the air fryer.
- Pizza sauce. I always make my own pizza sauce but using jarred sauce, leftover marinara sauce or canned tomatoes are all completely fine.
- Toppings: I kept it simple with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni garnished with fresh basil leaves. Feel free to add any of your favorite pizza toppings. Mushrooms, bell peppers, salami, leftover cooked chicken, different cheese, olives, ham, cooked bacon red onion, sausage or pineapple would all be delicious. Seasonings like dried oregano, garlic, red pepper flakes, etc. are also delicious.

How to cook pizza in the air fryer
- Form the dough: On a lightly floured surface, press out the dough into a rough circle/oval shape. Transfer the dough to a piece of parchment paper. Spray with olive oil (optional).
- Air fry: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F/205°C. Once hot, add the dough to the air fryer basket. Allow the pizza dough to cook for 5-7 minutes until the top is crisp and golden.
- Add toppings: Flip the pizza crust over then add the sauce, cheese and toppings of your choice. Return to the air fryer and cook for another 3-5 minutes until the cheese is melted and the top of the pizza is golden brown. Remove from the air fryer, garnish with fresh basil, slice and serve.
Can I make this ahead?
Leftover pizza can be kept in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge and reheated in the air fryer.
How to reheat pizza in the air fryer
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F/205°C then add the slices of pizza. Allow to reheat for 2-3 minutes until the pizza is hot then remove and serve.

Serving Suggestions
Pizza is definitely a meal all on its own but I love it served salads to cut through the richness. Of course you can add a side of fries or potato wedges but a crisp caesar salad with homemade dressing is always a winner. I also love topping pizza with arugula salad dressed in a super lemony dressing.
