Easy Balsamic Vinaigrette
This classic Balsamic Vinaigrette is a salad dressing every cook should have in their repertoire. It jazzes up a boring bag of store-bought lettuce in an instant and is ridiculously simple to make.

At its core, this is just balsamic vinegar, good olive oil, Dijon mustard, a touch of honey and some seasoning. That’s it. The Dijon helps emulsify the dressing so it stays together instead of separating, and the honey takes the edge off the vinegar’s sharpness and adds a beautiful subtle sweetness.
The key is getting the ratio right. I like three parts oil to one part vinegar, but you can play around with it depending on how tangy you like things.
