Easy Smashed Lamb Wraps
These juicy, easy smashed lamb wraps are a weeknight dinner wonder. Packed with protein and absolutely delicious, this is guaranteed to become a family favorite in no time.

Ingredients and Substitutions
- Ground lamb/lamb mince. Ground beef can be substituted but lamb is incredibly flavorful and so delicious so try to find it if you can. Most butchers will be able to make ground lamb/lamb mince for you.
- Red onion.
- Fresh garlic cloves.
- Fresh herbs: I used parsley and thyme in the lamb mixture and dill, parsley and fresh mint in the yogurt sauce.
- Dried oregano.
- Salt and black pepper.
- Wraps. Flour tortillas are a good substitute.
- Greek yogurt.
- Fresh lemon juice.
- Chopped salad: cucumber, tomatoes and red onion.
- For serving: Fresh herbs and sliced chillies.

Tips For Making The Best Lamb Wraps
- Be generous with the seasoning. Lamb mince is strong in flavor and can handle plenty of garlic, herbs, salt and pepper.
- Use wet hands to smash the lamb mixture onto the wraps. This prevents sticking and helps you smooth out the meat more effectively.
- Cook on high heat! You want the lamb to cook quickly and form a beautiful brown crust for optimal flavor.
- Add all the toppings! We love a garlicky herb yogurt sauce but hummus, tzatziki or baba ghanoush will also be delicious. For some fresh crunch, a quick chopped salad is ideal but we also love marinated cucumber salad in these wraps.
Can I Make This Ahead?
The lamb mixture can be made and kept in an airtight container in the fridge overnight. I like to assemble the wraps then stack them with parchment paper. At this point you can either wrap them well with plastic wrap or freeze them in freezer bags. Cook directly from frozen!

Serving Suggestions
These wraps are great on their own for a delicious fresh lunch or dinner but there are a few side dish options to turn this meal into a feast. Add some potato wedges or air fryer fries to the side. Corn on the cob would also be delicious.
