Meal Plan #33 of 2026
This week’s meal plan includes Peri-Peri Spatchcock Chicken, Masala Baked Fish, Creamy Tomato Beef Pasta, Mushroom Chicken and Easy Shrimp Tacos. Where appropriate, we’ll include seasonal swaps so you’re not eating hearty soups and stews in summer or refreshing salads in winter. 🙂
We’ve also included a completed shopping list for your convenience. Simply click on the link and download!
Monday
Creamy Spatchcock Peri-Peri Chicken
Why You’ll love this recipe:
- Simply delicious: This recipe delivers the most delicious chicken and one I make all the time. Yes, it is spicy so if you’re feeding littles or your spice tolerance is low, replace the peri peri sauce in the cream sauce with spices like smoked paprika, onion powder, some crushed garlic and a squeeze of lemon juice. It won’t be exactly the same but it will still be good.
- Add a side: The veg-loaded turmeric rice is our favorite side dish for this chicken but a big salad, garlic butter rice or crispy potatoes would be delicious too.
Tuesday
Masala Baked Fish
Why You’ll love this recipe:
- Family friendly: The fish is spiced but not spicy so it works for milder palates. We love it with the rice and a big chopped salad for a fresh, healthy weeknight dinner.
- Build your bowl: The turmeric rice, chopped salad and a dollop of yogurt makes this a well-balanced meal. Other options: marinated cucumber salad, curry rice, roti/naan.
Wednesday
Creamy Tomato Beef Pasta
Why You’ll love this recipe:
- So easy:Â A simple ground beef tomato sauce tossed through pasta. As simple as it gets.
- Great for meal prep: The sauce can be made ahead and kept in the fridge for 3 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
Thursday
Creamy Mushroom Chicken
Why You’ll love this recipe:
- So easy: This is a 20-minute meal and kid-approved (as long as they eat mushrooms). We often have this with rice or pasta or a crusty loaf of bread to mop up the sauce.
- Add a side: For a veg-side to add some fibre and nutrients, add green beans, broccoli or serve the chicken with cauliflower mash.
